I have to leave between 14:15 and 17:30 but the gate to the camping field will be open from 10:30. There is a loose plan to go for an Indian on Wednesday evening 19:30ish for any one who wants to go. It is approx 5 min walk from the sailing club. Cheers Steven Tweet |

I will probably leave a key for the dinghy park with the class chairman when I go away for a few hours. Cheers Steven Tweet |

04/09/2017 17:39:00![]() Posts: 0 | Clive I read your runners and riders piece with interest. I’m sorry to say that I won’t be a distraction for Greg this year and the forecast looks to be right up his street. I am sorry to say that I will be missing this year. It’s the first time I have missed the 100 Nationals since I bought my boat in 2010 and I am gutted, especially with a cast list of 45 entries so far. The class is close to hitting the magical 50 mark. Having been out for a chunk of the season, I am now suffering from a dodgy back. It has meant that when I have sailed a couple of times with the Chew team that I have been unable to move for the following week. Doctors and physios have been working on me and I am close to being fixed, but I want to be able to sail for years to come, so I am being most unlike myself. There would be too much incentive for me to bugger up my back for months/years, especially if I were to see Greg in front of me. So by skipping this event iT should mean that I will be able to be more active at next year’s events as well as at Chew for the Inlands in October. I know Clive that you will miss my wavy blue line, but I’m sure someone will try to stick one on your boat to make you go faster. (Please someone do it. It's worth it to see Clive go mental!) Good luck to you all. May the best man or woman win. I will raise a glass to you all. David Smart Tweet |

04/09/2017 23:48:00![]() Posts: 0 | Clive Sorry about the double post. Genuinely don't know how that happened! Anyway, I would be disappointed if I didn't receive daily abuse from you. Nevertheless, to pinch a phrase from film 'I'll be back!' I had thought to use 'we can rebuild him, stronger than before.' However that would be a lie and nobody's spending $6million on me :-( David Tweet |
