Hiya,

I entered last weekend and am currently the only RS100 registered.

Entries this year are limited to 70 and so there are just 32 places left and 3 weeks to go.

Is anyone else intending to go?

Best Regards

Nick

Only 13 places left before the event hits its maximum number! They are going quick, if you are thinking of going best enter now. Always a great event, well worth the trip.

Looks like we are the biggest fleet at Posh again, nice one! On the SI's it did say that the entry was capped at 70, but I have just had a look and the entry is still open for some reason? So still a chance if you want some fun....!?!

POSH 2016 results are here

The Chew team of Andy and Chris are going to do the write up, aren't you chaps.

The results include the Musto Skiff and D-ones. Taking the Skiff out of our RS100 results I think saves Greg a counting point and would put him ahead of my club mate Ian Gregory on count back, which may cheer Greg up slightly. Sorry Ian!

The most important thing for the write up is that the one race we had on Saturday was abandoned by the OOD thanks to Mr Harrisons's pleading and shouting, induced by the fact I'd just lapped him.

Clive your version of events is not correct. You did not quite lap me before ( I allegedly got) Saturdays race abandoned.  Well done to Al for his dominant performance, sorry we dashed off so fast but the real race was for the ferry which we just made (last car on). See you all at Lymington

Hi guys, yes we will do the report, I've already done a first draft for Chris to edit so hopefully it will be up shortly.

Mark, glad to see you  (or rather Liz) got the ferry. You say 'last car on'. What about the boat? Still on the Quay at Southampton? Accumulating parking fees?

See you at Lymington. Might look like Swampy!

Giles,

After numerous comments about my ability to attend an open meeting without Pippa, she has suggested an AGM for 'boat butlers' at Lymington. Where would you suggest we hold it, as you and I will undoubtedly foot the bill?

Ah yes, mustn't forget the workers!  Lots of good places to drink in and around Lymo.  Maybe book somewhere for the Saturday evening?  My office in Lymo can help (thanks Mum!).  Will people be staying within walking distance of the High Street or are most in cars anyway?
