Magic Marine RS100 National Tour Event Number Three: 7 events, 4 to count

POSH stands for Paignton Open for Single Handed Dinghies.  The event is open to all mono-hull single handers with a PY of 1200 or lower including RS100s and RS600s.  Also racing will be Lasers, Blazes, Phantoms, D-Ones and MPS.

The number of entries is capped at 120 - so grab your place now by pre-entering online at:

Your name will then appear on the online entry list and your friends will be able to see that you are going!  Hopefully this will encourage them to sign up too.  See those early birds who have already entered (well done you!) at:

Please also click the intend to race button at the bottom of the event page so you let your friends viewing your class website know you are going!

Entry fee: There is an early entry discount of £5 if you enter and pay before 2 May, making the entry fee £30.  After 2 May the entry fee is £35.  Entry includes Saturday evening meal for one person.  Extra meal tickets can be bought at registration.

Racing: 6 races over 2 days.  3 races each day in the sheltered but challenging waters of Torbay.

Registration: Sat 0900-1200hrs

Briefing: Sat 1130hrs and Sun 0930hrs

First race warning signal: Sat not before 1225hrs, Sun not before 1025hrs, no warning signal after 1355hrs on Sun

It is possible to launch at any tide state into the sheltered yet challenging waters of Torbay. There is easy access to the club with free parking within a few minutes of the club.

I see , looking at the POSH entries that Smarty, true to his name, has doubled his chance of doing well by entering twice!
Is this a new form of cheque book sailing to win! 

I will try anything to win.  On the other hand, it might just be a senior moment.

Forecast has changed rather dramatically in the last 24 hours
 
Yesterday morning it was showing 33mph average gust 47mph at 1pm Saturday
 
 

I agree. XC weather now shows a rather pleasant Force 4 for both days.

No excuses for any no shows.  In fact quite the opposite, more should appear on the day.
