Hi all

The Frensham Frenzy takes place on Sunday 8th March this year - 2 pursuit races and a great opportunity to practice your boat handling before the season kicks off in earnest.

As a bonus, we've booked RS legend and multiple champion Roger Gilbert to run a training session the day before.

Be ready to launch for a session at 11:30am. We'll then have a debrief and you can join the club handicap race that starts at 2 and we'll extend the training into that, with another debrief thereafter.
Frensham provides 'it's never over until it's over' racing, challenging conditions and lots of boat-handling practice. We'll try and give you some tips on the best way around for the following day, so you will have a bit of a strategic and tactical edge to go with Roger's the advice.

Any queries, drop me a line on [email protected] or [email protected]

Also, entries are capped at 50 for the Frenzy; to book your place just drop me a line, then pay on the day

I enjoyed the Frensey, during which I could of crowned Clive RS 100 Puddle Champion.
There were 4 of us there, Huw, Clive and myself on 10.2 rigs and Chris from Weston using the 8.4, with the wind from 4 to 14 knots to start with but it dropped a bit in the afternoon.
There were 2 pursuit races, in the first race Huw was leading 100 from start to finish followed closely by Clive with Mark and Chris some way behind, and the second was led by Clive followed by Mark, Huw and Chris.
The racing was interesting, what with avoiding the other 45 boats on a course that criss crossed the pond, and doing over 40 mark rounding in the day in a gusty and shifty wind certainly sharpened up the boat handling.
Clive finished 4th overall followed by Huw in 6th and I did not see were Chris or I finished as I dashed off to catch the ferry.

See you all at Grafham this coming weekend.

I counted a 7th and 4th and Huw a 5th and 11th. I think my hangover had cleared by the afternoon...
