I'm convinced i saw that there will be a worlds in Carnac in 2015, but can't find any mention of it anywhere... It's totally possible that I imagined it or am blind and just can't find it (I'm told senility has some advantages, can't remember what they are though...) Can anybody confirm or otherwise and if yes do we have the dates yet?

I knew Carnac would be Europeans but "could be" Worlds depending from the negotiations with ISAF. However, I also can't find the e-mail where somebody was telling me this. I must have some early sign of neurodegeneration too.

you probably saw that in this document:

(the meeting date is wrong of course)

Heather says "It will probably be a
European, as Worlds would require an International jury at approx. extra
£50/boat on entry"

Some boats are coming from Aus for Carnac.
I know I would be happy to pay an extra 50 if it meant it being a Worlds will attract a bigger fleet.

Me too! the Garda turn out was disappointingly low, it would be great to get a good size fleet at Carnac and if making it a Worlds would increase it then I'm for that.

It really doesn't make any difference to me whether it's a Worlds or a Europeans, I'll be there if it's not too much hassle to get my boat there and if lots of my friends are there. Sign me up now!
Oh wait, just let me check with that nice chap who does my boat for me...

I think the important point is how to get a lor of boats there, whether by cheaper prices or by using the word "Worlds" to attract people. I will go there and try to bring along as many people as possible, probably a couple of Germans will come, is anybody in contact with the Swedes? I think Carnac will be a great event, it's such a beautiful place.

Just seen Giles post, but not sure I have ever been called a "nice Chap" before. I am sure we can sort something out Giles!

Seems to be something lost in translation there. Do corkheads speak a different language?

Ok, so I just signed up for the European championship in Carnac. Looking for a place to stay, where are you guys staying? Might be fun to try and stay close together?
