I've been sailing my boat frequently, in Poole Harbour, for 3 years now and have encountered a few corrosion related issues which it may be useful to know about:

1.  The large nuts on the boom gooseneck bolt lost a lot of their thread due to corrosion.  I've replaced them with washers and locknuts, which seems to work OK.

2.  The metal outhaul block inside the boom seized up.  I've replaced it with a non-metal one.

3.  The tiller extension screws pulled out of the tiller, may have been a weakness there, as the self tapping screw holes showed signs of corrosion.  I've bolted the tiller extension on now.

Overall the boat has held up well to a lot of use and is really easy to own. I still find it outstanding fun to sail.
