hi. I've just purchased my RS100 and wondered if there are any clubs around the Solent area which have an active class racing scene? Was thinking of stokes bay, Lee or hill head? Thanks. James 

Hi James - we have 3 at Netley SC that go out on a regular basis, I think Weston SC has 3 and I think the same at Warsash now (but not entirely sure). 
 
Would be good to do more Solent or Southampton Water based comms...this is probably the best way to do it on the forum.

...correction (08/08/2016) we have 4 very active 100's who go out on a regular basis, a lot of interest from the Vareo sailors who are keen too!

We have 6 RS100s at Weston. We sail in an asymmetric handicap fleet against 200s, 400s, Laser 2000s etc on a windward leeward course.

 Thought I'd relight this thread - since the Nationals we've had a bit of a procurement drive at Netley SC and now have 10 boats and due x4 more...bit mind blown by it all if I'm honest.
 
Is there any news on 2017 diary yet...if we'd like an event at Netley we kinda need to know ideas of dates...especially if there is a real want to host a circuit open meeting or even Nationals if that's not decided in full. I have to get this to the General Committee ASAP so any help gratefully received.
