RS100 Open Training - Chew Valley
The RS100 season starts with a training day at Chew Valley on Saturday 15th April part-funded by the RS Class Association and open to all.
David Smart, Andy Jones and Steve Jones will be the main trainers and there will be something for everyone whatever your level of RS100 experience. The fleet will break into groups to cater for different levels and include boat set up tips for newbies to the class.
RS100 sailors are more than welcome to stay and join the club racing on Sunday, with possibly the largest RS100 fleet in the country, this will be the equivalent of sailing an open meeting. 2 races are planned, a morning all-in handicap and afternoon pursuit race.
The cost is just the club's standard visitor fee of £15/day, so £30 for the weekend. Please contact Andrew Jones at Chew Valley if you'd like to take part or would like more details.
David Smart has booked a friendly moderate breeze that builds during the day!
