Last visited for an RS100 Nationals in 2015, though the fleet sailed in the same waters from Brixham in 2021, there are some very good reasons why Royal Torbay is a prestigious Nationals venue

• RYA Club of the Year 2019
• Superb race area, a large open bay, with a choice of sailing area depending on the wind
• Experienced championship club, hosting World and National championships each year
• Excellent race management team
• Seaside town on the English Riviera (yes, there are palm trees) - plenty of accomodation and eateries within walking distance
• Shore Team booked to help with launching and recovery 
• Dinghy Park located at the launching end of the pier
• All RS100 sailors most welcome

Social Programme

Anyone who has sailed at the RS100 Nationals in the past will note that the fleet socials are primarily chilled evenings with a warm welcome and the occasional lively interlude! 

Thu - Commodore's Reception, with a drink and a supper, included in your entry fee. Catch up with old friends, make new ones in the club bar and enjoy supper at the club. Food tickets for friends and family are available to purchase here.

Fri - Help shape the future of RS100 sailing at the AGM, before enjoying a meal at a local venue.

Sat - The RS100 Nationals Championship Dinner. The event finale and definitely not to be missed! Please book your dinner ticket in advance here.

Sun - Championship prize giving. 

Full deatils of timings etc will be sent with your Joining Instructions

Entry is online via this website

There are 3 key dates to bear in mind:

31st May - enter by then to receive a free Rooster 3l Nationals branded dry bag    

1st July - enter by then to save £40, that'll get you a drink or 10!

21st Sept - entry closes

Entry includes 4 days racing, 4 days coming ashore snacks, Commodore's Reception Drink and Sailors' Supper, plus a free 3l dry bags for entries received by 31st May.

Accommodation

There is plenty of accommodation within walking distance, though it pays to book up early to get the best deal.
