Our first RS100 Rooster National Tour event is just over the horizon, RS Sprints at Rutland SC, 22/23 April. The usual short, sharp racing to really kick start the season.
Ahead of this we have RS Class Association training at Chew Valley on 15/16 April, with not one, but three coaches - Davidf Smart, Andy Jones and Steve Jones!
For those even keener, there are usually a few RS100s at the Frensham Frenzy and many of the clubs with home fleets of RS100s welcome occassional visitors - the best way to arrange to sail with fellow RS100 sailors and find out what everybody is up to is often via the class Facebook group here.

A couple of highlights
Noble Marine Allen RS100 National Championships, 28 Sept - 1 Oct, Royal Torbay
Save the date! The RS100 fleet will take over Royal Torbay Yacht Club for the event (for those at the Summers a few years back - this year we promise there will be no pesky RS200s in the way!), expect well run, competiive racinga nd a chilled social scene.
Salcombe Gin RS Summer Regatta and Ball, 24/25 June, HISC
For the first time since COVID, we will be holding a full multifleet RS Summer Ball at the Salcombe Gin Summer Regatta. A Rooster National Tour event for the RS100 as well as the RS400s, RS700s and RS800s and the Nationals for the RS500s, plus a fixture on their EU tour and the inaugural RS200 Masters. Dig out your DJ/suit or posh frock and enjoy! Bring your partners too. The RS Summer Balls were legendary in the past, with a new generation of sailors now in the fleets we hope that in 2023 it will be bigger than ever and that there will be a few RS100 tables. More info soon, but if you want to saty at the club, book your room now.
