**ONLINE ENTRY EXTENDED UNTIL MIDNIGHT MONDAY 20TH APRIL**
RS Sprint Regatta
The fast, fun RS multifleet regatta to blow away the final winter cobwebs and get the Rooster National Tour 2026 well and truly underway.
Two days of short, sharp racing against your class, with an evening meal together.

Harken have again agreed to generously sponsor the RS Sprints Regatta, providing valuable Harken goodies and vouchers.
The Harken RS Sprints Regatta is on the 2026 Rooster National Tour for all the fleets competing!

Fancy a front row seat? We are looking for committee boat volunteers, please contact Lizzie if you can help.
Book your curry and pudding via the club's website here.
And because it’s not all about boat speed…we are planning a Quiz Night in the bar after the dinner (because everyone knows the true RS champion is decided in the quiz).
Accommodation
For those who don’t fancy a long walk home after the social, Rutland offers onsite bunkhouse accommodation. Alternatively, there’s a campsite just across the road at Rutland Water, with full access to the club facilities.
Friday Night Arrivals:
On Friday evening (24th), the Clubhouse is sharing a recorded talk by Ian Herbert-Jones, a participant in the Golden Globe single-handed nonstop round-the-world race. Out of twelve boats that started, only Robin Knox-Johnson completed the race, finishing as the sole winner.
In his talk, Ian discusses his preparations for the race and the challenges of sailing around both the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Horn. He will also share the dramatic ending of his voyage in the South Atlantic and the almost miraculous details of his survival and rescue. It’s a gripping tale, with many lessons for anyone interested in blue-water sailing!
Catering and the bar will be open, and the talk will take place after club members have enjoyed their meal at 7:00 PM. All RS fleet members who arrive on Friday are welcome to join.
More info on the story here.
